I did something different, a little bit crazy and a big bit fun yesterday. I was feeling inspired by seeing the grace kelly exhibition at the V&A (fabulous. thanks for the tea and cake mum!) so felt like a shake up.
I often think I have nothing to wear and want to buy something new. Omitting anything with bobbles, discolouring from being in the wrong wash and holes in from moths (ggrrr) which got thrown away yesterday, I actually have loads of clothes. I think I suffer from forgeting how to put them together.
So what’s a girl to do? Pull everything out on to the floor and see what looks good side by side. Which is how I came by today’s outfit – new red and white striped top from H&M, favourite black skinny jeans, old brown leather bag and last season’s grey blazer.
I’ve got something else worked out for tomorrow and now don’t want to shop. Result!

I seem to have a lot to say for myself lately – I keep adding to my list of things to look forward to! This is definitely another.
So apparently this movie has an atrocious plot line. this seems plausible given there is nothing anyone could describe as a story in the trailer.
But that is totally missing the point because the reason I used to watch was the fashion.

And, it looks like I won’t be disappointed. This picture has me tingling in anticipation already and we still have three months until it’s released over here.

crab, the creative director at tangent one, told me about this one. basically, women are taking photos of their bags and all that’s in them then uploading them to this photo pool on flickr.
it’s kinda compulsive. i’m liking looking at people’s bags and how they relate to how much is in there and what they choose to carry. a bit weird but very interesting.
