I’ve finally relented and got me a maxi dress. Somewhat typically it is a slim fitting plain black one.
I have a horror of most things floaty, floral, bohemian or hippy looking (on me – not other people) so have struggled with this one. I like the Grecian style dresses that are out at the moment, especially the ones with chains instead of shoulder straps. Frustratingly they all seem to be empire line which is not a great look on me.
Anyway, this one was a bargain £18 from topshop. I’ll be wearing it on lazy weekend days and for a chilled night or two on holiday. Win.
