Christmas lights 2

Leadenhall Market, the City

Christmas lights 1

I get all kinds of excited about Christmas and one of my favourite things are the amazingly pretty displays of fairy lights that pop up. I’d love to see them all year round but concede that they do make London especially pretty in months that can be quite dark and gloomy.

I’ve been taking photos all over town and will be uploading them as I go. I’ve even created a new ‘Lights’ category and started it off by moving a few old posts over.

I’m not sure anyone else will enjoy looking at them as much as I do but I’ll try none the less!

The first is on Watling Street in Moorgate. I love that the lights are hanging off the scafolding and that there are chandeliers to top it off. Strange but gorgeous.

Me and Zena

This is the latest addition to my bling collection – a real metal but fake gold, super shiny, broken heart necklace. I love it.

It’s from Me and Zena. I really like their offbeat style and even would go so far as to say I prefer their style to that of Tatty Devine. A tough call but they just make it. I may just have to buy some gifts from there in time for Christmas….
