I was meant to buy dark denim skinny jeans from gap but saw these and fell in love with them.

they are twisted seam, drop crotch, gathered ankle and low waist. not very sensible but I like very much. plenty of time for sensible later on.

I’ve been wanting to wear this combination for ages: mink heels, layered peach tops and mid blue denim shorts (a recent bargain purchased from H&M). It was another that came from dumping everything on the floor and seeing what I could match.

Except that today outside my window, it was resolutely not summer. Hence the very thick black tights. They did mean I could wear the shorts with a leather jacket which leant the whole thing a pleasing tough edge.

Might try bare legs and ankle socks with a lace trim next but that will need a careful think!

It’s actually sonia rykiel pour h&m – the only bit I found that I wanted.

It’s also something which I’ve been coveting for a while.

We moved on to a white wicker bag and a floral vest from Primark. Then to denim shorts from H&M.

And finally, as a gift from the lovely lady Chloe, a gold cupcake charm necklace.

Not a bad days work at all. Can’t wait for the summer!
