Synth Glasgow

Time for an unashamed big up.

Synth Glasgow is a new music blog covering independent club nights, the work of local producers, plus interviews with the promoters & DJ’s who are pushing the scene forward.

They cover disco, dubstep, drum & bass, techno & electro and regularly post links to sweet soundcloud mixes. This week I have been mostly listening Synth Autumn 10, a very cool and diverse mix of a lot of the best tracks out there right now.

There’s also a post dedicated to Mighty Mouse with a link to a new mix. I do love a bit of disco.

Clare Maguire

I found this track through the Hype Machine. I have time to listen to anything Breakage remixes anyway but this is even better than most.

Clare Maguire is making waves already despite not being on the scene for long. Her unique sound and talent for building atmosphere is setting her apart.

Ain’t Nobody is her debut single and is out now on Neon Gold Records.

Jamie Woon

Jamie Woon is a 25 year old from North Clapton in London (sensing  a theme in my music tastes?) and hits the mark perfectly with his blend of acoustic alternative rock, electro and soul.

This video is for the Ramadanman remix of his forthcoming single, Night Air. It can be bought in 12″ from his website and will drop in digital format soon.

Also check out this preview video for the original version of the single.
