i was down at the tate modern yesterday to see the pop life exhibition and despite all the controversial work that is in the show, the thing that caught my attention the most was takashi murakami’s new video work.
it called "Akihabara Majokko Princess" and is directed by McG. it stars kirsten dunst as this princess and features her performing to the Vapors’ "Turning Japanese" on the streets of Tokyo.
the full film is not publicly available yet but is at tate modern until january….. I will post it once it’s released.
