Wednesday turned out to be not so great a day. a cancelled easy jet flight put paid to my trip to Ibiza…
My mood was lifted however by this gorgeous piece of Vivienne Westwood jewellery given to me by my good friend tejal. fuschia pink plastic, diamanté, wings, a heart and gold – what’s not to love?
A pretty good way to get this girl’s smile back!

I have acquired two new pairs of shoes this week. Both are for summer, are relatively impractical and have damaged my finances but have put a big smile on my face.
First up, these lovely leather ballet style shoes from Primarni. I love the neon pop of the peach colour – so wrongly 80s that it turns in to goodness. Lovely with a bit of a summer tan and only £6.

Secondly, we have these gold gladiator sandals from Office. People who know me will remember that I abhor the boho/hippy looks that seem to revive every summer. I like my clean lines, weird tailoring and block colours but at the moment everything is frilly, floral or beige. Yuck. Anyway, I digress…

I also like a bit of gold and sat next to my harem trousers and a fuschia pink vest these looked good. I also have an eye on needing a good pair of dancing shoes next month and my feet can’t manage 8 hours in heels. Ibiza is calling!

So it started with a hair bow.
It’s actually sonia rykiel pour h&m – the only bit I found that I wanted.
It’s also something which I’ve been coveting for a while.

We moved on to a white wicker bag and a floral vest from Primark. Then to denim shorts from H&M.
And finally, as a gift from the lovely lady Chloe, a gold cupcake charm necklace.
Not a bad days work at all. Can’t wait for the summer!
