Electric Daisy Carnival… and oh to be in Ibiza…

The dance music blogs are still buzzing with news from the massive Electric Daisy Carnival which had one of it’s weekends in Las Vegas for the first time three weeks ago. LA Music Blog have a great write up.

There has been a sweet little glut of house tracks coming out and these are my favourite so far. Avicii seems to continually raise his sights with each release and his mix of progressive house and emo vocals is hitting the mark. Alesso seems to be everywhere and David Guetta is about to drop his new album on 30th July.

All of this is just making me want to get over to Ibiza to see these guys in person. Still hoping… Closing anyone?

Oh my god, how does a 21 year old get to be so good so young? Tim Bergling hails from Sweden and ticks all the boxes… DJ, producer and remixer.

His kind of house music is right up my street – happy, slightly emo, slick, sexy, summery sounding tunes. Check it out.
