Wednesday turned out to be not so great a day. a cancelled easy jet flight put paid to my trip to Ibiza…
My mood was lifted however by this gorgeous piece of Vivienne Westwood jewellery given to me by my good friend tejal. fuschia pink plastic, diamanté, wings, a heart and gold – what’s not to love?
A pretty good way to get this girl’s smile back!

i know. this is getting a bit weird now. I just like them.
they are quick, fun to make and nice to eat.
these have rosewater in them but they taste more like candy floss. This is never a bad thing but I’ll go for more rose and less sugar next time.
i’ve got my macaron (or macaroon if you prefer) book now so some of those will be on the way once I get a little more time on my hands. poor excuse I know but i promise they will be worth it.

I have a bit of a confession – I am a teapot and tea set addict. I have been restraining myself lately but saw these and fell in love.
I’ve found a home for this beautiful pink teapot in my collection of 7 and this gorgeous Cath Kidston mug joins the many many others I have.
So pretty.
