My mood was lifted however by this gorgeous piece of Vivienne Westwood jewellery given to me by my good friend tejal. fuschia pink plastic, diamanté, wings, a heart and gold – what’s not to love?

they are quick, fun to make and nice to eat.

these have rosewater in them but they taste more like candy floss. This is never a bad thing but I’ll go for more rose and less sugar next time.

i’ve got my macaron (or macaroon if you prefer) book now so some of those will be on the way once I get a little more time on my hands. poor excuse I know but i promise they will be worth it.

I’ve found a home for this beautiful pink teapot in my collection of 7 and this gorgeous Cath Kidston mug joins the many many others I have.

pink icing with pink glitter and a massive hit of strawberry on top of a bite sized little bit of vanilla sponge.

yummy and lethal. they are so small you can trick yourself in to thinking it is ok to eat more than one or two…

I’ve wanted to make these for ages but was too lazy to whisk the egg whites by hand.

The pink ones have rose water in the shells and buttercream with fresh raspberries as the filling. The creamy ones have vanilla seeds in the shell and are sandwiched with slightly salty caramel.

I now have a new technique to perfect! watch this space…
