About

I’m a mama, strategist, writer, yoga enthusiast, nutrition geek and a south Londoner.

I became a mama in 2016, when the amazing little burst of energy that is our daughter decided to grace us with her presence. Becoming a parent, and a mother specifically, and all that entails – the experience of being pregnant, birth, learning how to parent and eventually working out what my new identity is – has massively shaped my thinking.

I write some of it down here and I regularly contribute articles to Natural Parent Magazine  often covering about pregnancy, birth, women’s identity and motherhood. I also have a Tiny Letter which shares anything I write via email.

I’ve spent 10 years working at big agencies like iris, Dare and DDB but now I’m working as Strategy Director for a much smaller, newer (but just as brilliant) agency called The Elephant Room, where we work every day to make advertising and the work we produce for our clients more diverse and more culturally relevant. You can find out more on my LinkedIn profile.

I’m a passionate believer and supporter of proactive health care for women and children which has led me to train in Naturopathic Nutrition at CNM (I graduate in July 2019) and also become a KGH Hypnobirthing teacher and member of the Positive Birth Movement.
